1. Welcome to VouchU
VouchU is a trust-first community where people trade skills and services with locals they can rely on. By creating an account or using VouchU (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Who can use VouchU
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself, your skills, and what you're looking to trade. One account per person.
3. Trades between members
VouchU connects people; we don't perform, supervise, or guarantee any trade. Any agreement (scope, timing, deliverables, compensation, taxes) is solely between the members involved. Use good judgment, communicate clearly, and confirm trades in-app so both sides can leave vouches.
4. Your content & conduct
You agree not to:
- Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your skills, identity, or affiliations.
- Post harassing, hateful, sexual, violent, illegal, or misleading content.
- Solicit money, donations, or payments outside the stated trade.
- Scrape, spam, or use automated tools against the Service.
- Use VouchU for activities that require a license you don't have (medical, legal, financial advice, etc.).
You retain ownership of photos, bios, and messages you post. You grant VouchU a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host and display that content so the Service can function.
5. Vouches & reputation
Vouches must reflect real, completed trades. Fake, traded, or coerced vouches will be removed and may result in account termination. Trust scores are computed by VouchU and may change as the community evolves.
6. Safety & reporting
You can block or report any member at any time. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to the community.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that trades will meet your expectations, that members are who they say they are, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. To the fullest extent allowed by law, VouchU disclaims all warranties.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, VouchU is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or from trades between members.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we'll notify you in-app or by email before they take effect.
